    Theaters need low frequency absorption everywhere. You have multiple, full range, mono sources producing lots of energy in short bursts at all frequencies throughout the room. Low frequency modal issues are everywhere and the last place you want them is at the seated positions where people view and listen. Attack and decay rates must be treated for so that “bass boom” doesn’t overwhelm the seated area.

    With the TSRP – Theater Seat Riser Platform you can manage all frequencies from 30 – 200 Hz. in the most critical area of the room. The platform is modular and comes in sections that are 2′ x 1′ x 4′. you build the square foot coverage your number of seats require. We also can assist you with building the platform into your existing structure. Plans are available and we can assist you with the carbon technology that goes inside your platform.

    The TSRP comes in three sizes:

    • 10′ x 10′
    • 12′ x 12′
  • The CDP (Carbon Drum Platform) is a drum platform which uses our carbon diaphragmatic technology to absorb the lower frequency energy from the kick and tom drum all the way up to the snare. You can achieve a large tight and defined drum sound, using our Carbon Drum Platform CDP.

    The CDP comes in three sizes:

    • 6′ x 6′
    • 8′ x 8′
    • 10′ x 10′

  • Many times in our studios we have a need for both diffusion and absorption. Bringing in separate units is not easy and definitely not cost effective. With our diffuser absorber studio (DAS) units you have both diffusion and absorption both in one unit. The unit is on casters so mobility and positioning is much easier than with free standing units.

    Diffusion can add air and separation to your instruments and vocals. A properly diffused sound field is a necessity in today’s recordings where absorption is used improperly. All rooms require the ability to absorb access low frequency energy no matter what the room dimensions and volume. Both of these features are now combined into one portable unit.

    Units are clear coated commercial grade MDF. This simple finishing technique is cost effective and seals the unit from moisture. Casters are rated at twice the load they are carrying and have double wide wheels which insure the ability to position them easily in tight places. Fabric color and texture options are numerous.

    There are three diffusion options you can work with. The quadratic diffusion options are based upon prime numbers 7,11, and 13. The higher the prime number, the more octave band coverage. especially at lower frequencies.

    • The DAS – 7 offers diffusion from 850 – 3,450 Hz. and our carbon absorption from 30 – 400 Hz. Units measure 24″ w x 60″ h x 16″ d and weigh 225 lbs. on casters.
    • The DAS – 11 offers diffusion from 375 – 3,450 Hz. and our carbon absorption from 30 – 400 Hz. Units measure 24″ w x 60″ h x 23″ d and weigh 250 lbs. on casters.
    • The DAS-13 offers diffusion from 275 – 3,450 Hz. and our carbon absorption from 30 – 400 Hz.Units measure 27″ w x 60″ h x 24″ d and weigh 275 lbs.on casters.
  • The QDA series of products incorporates the ultimate of everything in one product. We have quadratic diffusion, broadband and frequency specific absorption all wrapped in a furniture grade wood finish. It is our highest performing product and our most expensive.

    The QDA S series of product keeps the diffusion and part of the absorption and wraps it all in a MDF cabinet that is clear coated to prevent dirt and moisture impact. You get a prime number 11, 13 or 17 for the diffusion sequence and our ACDA -10 or ACDA-12 technology in the base. You can choose what type works best for your room and usage. You can choose broadband ACDA -10 absorption from 30 – 200 Hz. or more frequency specific absorption from 30 – 50 Hz. All units are on casters for easy positioning.

    With the QDA S series, you get your choice of diffusion and absorption type all in one unit in a cabinet that looks good but without the high cost of wood and paint finishes. The alder wood has a smooth and mellow tone quality that is equal to the more higher priced cherry woods.

    Diffusers must be positioned at correct height in order to perform correctly. Our bases are designed to elevate the diffuser to the correct height to match your usage. Each diffuser height and width dimension will be adjusted to match your room.

    Each diffuser base features our carbon technology to improve your low frequency absorption in either the front or rear of your room. Finishes can be selected to match your diffusers.

    The ACDA-10 CSM (module) is a smaller version or our production ACDA-10 unit. It is a broadband absorber from 30 Hz. – 200 for lower frequencies and with our 2″ foam face, absorption is increased through 6,300 Hz.

    ACDA-12 CSM is a smaller version of our production ACDA -12 unit. This is a more limited frequency range starting at 30 – 50 Hz. It is powerful with absorbent coefficients of 63 % at 40 Hz. and 100 % at 50 Hz.

  • The CSS is designed to accommodate rooms of different heights, widths, and lengths. The height can be adjusted from 8′ to 10′. The width can go up to 18″ and the length is achieved by “stacking” individual units together. It is truly a room within a room that you can assemble without any construction materials or crew. Two people can assemble within the existing room.

    To determine what size you will require in your room, take the measurements of your room and reduce the width and length by 12″. This will be your width and height measurement for your CSS. The height of the CSS is determined by reducing the existing height dimension of the room by just 3″. We want to maximize height as much as possible. Reducing the height dimension by 3″ from your existing room height is a good start.

    Each CSS module is 2 units wide and measures 54″ in width. The first units installed will be the ACDA-12 modules. They will go around the edge of your room where pressure areas are the highest. After the border is achieved with the ACDA-12 units, there is a combination of the ACDA-10 and diffusion units. Actual layout will be determined by room usage and room distances.
