P-11 M | Modular Acoustic Diffuser
Diffusion is a technology to make a small room sound larger. It can be used in many user types. It can be used in home theaters along with listening, control, live, and even vocal rooms. Its usage is distant dependent so we must make sure we have enough distance between the diffusion and the listening position for all waveforms to properly form.
Diffusion modules are lightweight and can be installed on a ceiling or wall surface. The P-11 M unit measures 24″ x 24″ x 9″ h. Each unit weighs 30 lbs. The P-11 M can be made out of walnut, cherry, or maple. The frequency response begins at 350 Hz. and goes through 3,450 Hz.
Diffusion can be located on the ceiling and rear walls of home theaters. Listening rooms can benefit from the front and rear walls with vertical diffusion. Control rooms that wish to produce the highest quality product will need either one or two-dimensional diffusion on the rear wall. Live rooms can also benefit from proper diffusion/microphone positioning.
