A young musician unexpectedly acquires a ukulele and thinks that because of its casual and uninteresting reputation, that there is not much to the instrument. She learns to play a few popular songs, but decides that she would like to discover new music that features ukuleles being used in more artistic and innovative ways. She comes to find a plethora of obscure artists that use ukuleles in unconventional, but compelling ways. Her preconceived notion of the ukulele is completely changed.
