Neil Young has announced the planned launch of a new, high-resolution digital audio service. The service, known as PONO, is scheduled to start in 2014. PONO will allow users to download audio files that will sound closer to the actual recordings. A file format and player has not yet been announced. PONO is currently negotiating with artists.
