Hi all
looking forward to contribute and learn here.

I wanted to throw this idea into the forum, as I’ve been pondering on this for a while :
Would old large speaker be suitable for bass absorbers?

Basically it’s a sturdy cabinet, with a floating membrane and inner insulation/absorption … ready to go.

Our mini-eventspace has some nasty standing waves in the lower frequencies, and we are looking for effective solutions… but also with some decorative value.

Thanks!
Roald

R, Remove the speakers. Seal the cabinet and use the appropriate cabinet fill material.
