I’d be interested in learning your results with your Martin Logan’s. I use a pair of Magnepan 3.7s which as I understand use the wall behind the speaker of reflecting sound.

Hi Gb1, Planars rely on a middle and high frequency back wave to “compliment” the direct energy from the surface of the planar. You can use absorption or diffusion to treat the wall surface. I have heard both. Diffusion if applied correctly, can enhance definition.
