Tall sanctuary

We have a sanctuary with 25 ft walls and a vaulted ceiling to 32 ft. With longer reverb times from 500Hz and up, would it be better to absorb the early reflections which are down lower, or treat the later reflections around the upper area?

Many thanks for any thoughts on this.

Hello, Lateral reflections from the side walls at ear level will produce the largest sonic impact for money spent. That said, you must make sure you match rate and level of absorption to amplitude or strength of the energy you are trying to manage.
