I’m about to start the process of building an addition on my house, a dedicated 2 channel listening room . Unfortunately I can’t make it as big as I would like, the length and width are going to be 12′ x 16′. Where I do have some variability is the ceiling. It can be a flat 9′ or a cathedral ceiling with a 12′ peak in the center, or a combination where there is a cathedral ceiling but with a lower, wider, flat strip in the middle instead of a peak (such as you commonly see in rooms above a garage or in an attic). My question is which one is more desirable in my situation? Thanks for your ideas!
