I’ve got 10’ceilings and to do a properly damped hardwood floor over concrete slab it looks like I’ll lose about 6″ due to the instal. For laminate, about 2″. Does anyone have advice on doing the wood floor with less loss of dimension. And opinions for wood Vs laminate reflective quality. I’ve. Feel, sound etc.
Does the quality and esthetic of wood outweigh the benefit of dimension?
