Help with soundproof panel

I’m learning about soundproofing atm but still a bit confused on what exact material to get, I’m on a small budget I’m trying to make a 6×6 foot long panel and 8 inches wide to stop sound penetrating through it, any cheap material I should use?

You can not stop noise transmission with a wall hanging panel. The solution is a permanent contsruction build with a barrier that is designed to stop the measured noise frequency and amplitude.
