I have a living room that is 25ft x 12ft but on the right side there is a 4ft wide hallway that extends to 32ft. I’m at the point of finding my seating position and trying to stay away from the big modes. My question is, which wall is the best starting point and/or if measuring with rew is the only way to be certain, what should i look for when evaluating?. Thanks

It will be difficult to measure this room due to its irregualrities. You will have to move the speakers and listening position around the room to try and find a position that makes acoustic sense. You may not find it within this room and have to live with the compromises.
