Hi all,

I just brought my basement down to original cement and cinderblock state. Ceiling trusses start at 8’ mark and hard ceiling is at 8’6”. The bare room: 8’6” x 19’6” x 39’6”.

As I educate myself and begin prep for a listening room with these limitations, is there a final length and width (before/after prepping walls) I should hold fast to?

Do the dimensions help or hurt prep (and therefore cost)?
