One of the problems identified in my room analysis was the speakers being located too close to the side wall, next to a window no less. While I cannot put the speaker in the exact recommended spot due to a fan being there. I can move it to a point 4ft off the side wall. Question is how far below the ceiling should I mount the speaker? It’s in an open A frame building so that might help.
How close to a ceiling fan can the speaker be before I hear a rotary speaker effect? Fan has large blades but used on low speed just to get air movement.

Regards,
Mark

You can not have fan blades moving air in a critical listening environment. This will produce phase issues.

Would 4 ft clearence above speaker (QSC K12.2) be OK? Run sound between 78-84 spl levels. Hopefully can keep fans off during live events.
