Does a diffusion panel need to be fitted to a room or is it a one size fit all deal?

Diffusion sequences must be matched to room usage and distance available. What is your room usage?

Listening room for 2 channel stereo. Room size is

16′ long x 12′ wide x 9′ tall. Do the diy kits come with different specs for different room sizes or is there more analysis needed?

According to this video , you have to choose a diffuser by counting the distance from listening position to the unit. I would add another question – if “elchamaco” wants to use diffusion on rear and front walls, can he use diffusers with different prime numbers? For example, if he would sit 6feet from rear wall = use P-13 https://www.acousticfields.com…..it-qrd-13/ for rear and P-23 for front to cover more frequencies??

Every diffusion prime number used has a direct frequency response unique to that prime number. It is best to use the same frequency across the room surface you are treating.
