I know diffusors need to have room to breath and require enough distance between the diffusor and the listener. My question is: can that distance be to great or is it better to move the diffusor closer to the listener but within proper distance? I have two large diffusors about 6.5 feet tall and 30″ wide with activated carbon on the lower 1/3 and each weigh 300 pounds. They are QD13. They are self supporting so they could be away from the back wall and moved more in the middle of the room.
