Hi To All and greetings from Australia (amidst the current chaos :-)
I love the youtube info Dennis has provided…super straight and clear. Ive been involved in music and acoustics for about 35 years and always looking to do it better.
My thought was this…thinking about materials, shape with waveguides relationships etc, it seems that because of materials etc, the construction is very much ‘quantised’ for manufacturing. What if those boundaries were a little more fluid and the surface of the diffusor could be varied eg CNC etc

Would continuously variable reflection be of benefit?

Not sure how to attach pictures but Ive put one up at this link (stylistically intrepreted ;-)

Hope its ok to add link…let me know if it doesnt work…bit hit and miss

A, I am not familiar with the process you are describing. Diffuser placement is distant and usage dependent.
