I’m converting an office at work into a photo studio for shooting interviews. The room is 10′ x 12′ with carpet and the normal drop ceiling. Just a desk and 2 chair, and I
will be using a shotgun mic. Would putting 4 of your foam tiles on the walls make any difference?

Hello, Four pieces would not provide enough surface area coverage. You would need a minimum 8 per wall and ceiling for a reduction in Rt-60 times.
