When I was browsing for the soundproofing material for my workplace, found that in some portal they are claiming their soundproofing materials are thermal proof as well. But I read in Quora that the sound produced in the soundproofed room will bounce around and heat up the room. Since the air inside the room is heated up will increase the temperature of the room as well. Then how can Soundproofing Material be Thermal Insulator?

More internet nonsense. They are trying to sell you something that does it all. Its the nsame marketing philosophy as corner “bass traps”.

Can you be clear on it. Is there any disadvantages in installing soundproofing panels?

There are no such things as sound prood panels. No panels that you hang upon the wall will stop noise transmission. Wall hanging panels are sound absorption technologies not noise technologies.
