Does the angle from source to diffuser make any significant difference?
Also, how much difference does the angle of the diffuser to the listening ear matter?
Can these angles be “fine tuned” to improve the listening experience?

The goal with diffusion is to create a sound field. There is no need to angle or point diffusers in certain directions. Define your usage and treat the wall surfaces to compliment the usage.
