Up and coming London studio, Olympic, began working with Jimi Hendrix by punching up the now famous track, Purple Haze. At that time, and with their resources, Olympic had to apply effects processing before the final Mix. Olympic’s wrap-around configuration made it a pleasure to work with for engineers. Olympic studios wove their way into music history by crafting the sound of this landmark album.
