Hi, I use RME Babyface and JBL LSR305 (they are 5″) .
When I set up my studio I tested my rooms soundwave mode with tone generator tool plugins.
There is a big resonance-boost problem on 125hz in my home studio. I put some bass trap foam to corners and flexi a50 panels to side walls.
There is no change evidently, the 125 hz resonance-boost is continues. My room dimensions is: Ceiling Height:2.70m x widht:2.70m x lenght:3.20m.
what can I do for solve this boost problem, thanks. ( I can add some pictures but I don’t see any pic upload button in here )

Your issue is your short ceiling height which will generate resonances at that 125 Hz. range and below. You need to use a broadband absorption technology to deal with this unwanted pressure issue. You also have ceiling height and width the same which produces coincidental modes which are four times more powerful than axial or tangential modes.

You know, I had a very similar situation where I was noticing a huge bump at 140hz. Measuring my room and doing some calculations online I realised it was my ceiling causing the problem, which surprised me cos I have a thin ceiling and I thought the sound would go straight through it. If anything I thought the tiled roof above the ceiling would be a cause of problems. So I have put some interim sound dampening up, and continue to mix with this bump in mind, until I can put something more effective up.

Denis, I bought the Acoustic Treatment DIY Bundle 23 from you, but I noticed there is not specific plan for a cloud in that bundle or in the DIY section. Would you recommend one for the diffusers for the job of being a cloud, or maybe the DIY Acoustic Panel? Thanks!
