Hi Dennis.
I’ve studied ACDA for months watching your youtube video several times now and finally purchased BDA plan lately.

I would like to understand how activated carbon’s massive area would actually “absorb” bass energy.

from the structure of BDA, the space after the second movable MDF is near air tight. which means the air does not flow in/out of that space.
When bass sound wave strikes the BDA, the energy of the wave moves first two MDF and turns to heat.

how active carbon help absorb energy?
in the video you mentioned the wave “slows down” , I am trying to understand what is being slowed down?

I have no doubt that active carbon technology improves 40% of the horse power. But I would like to understand how it works.
Thank you

V, The ACDA unit is a diaphragmatic absorber . Study the characteristics of diaphragmatic absorption . We have placed a perforated absorber (carbon) inside a diaphragmatic. The unit works on sound (air) pressure, not molecular velocity or air flow.
