hi.

im using my living room as a a 2 channel and hometheatre room. 6.2.

my wife is allowing me to put 22mm .75 nrc acoustic panels on the ceiling trying to understand how much is a good idea.

my room is approx.

11mx 2.5m x 5m

it is not perfectly rectangular

im not in a position to move speakers listening position or room or house so im trying to make the most of what i have.

Every surface area of your room c ontributes 17% to all of the pressure and reflections in small rooms. If a 17% solution is your goal then treating the ceiling is an option. However, your largest acoustical benefit is the four walls.
