QDAH-13 Quadratic Diffusor Absorber Horizontal

Features

The QDAH-13 series is the first unit in our vertical or horizontal diffusor series with 2 activated carbon, diaphragmatic absorbers absorbing low frequency energy from 40 hz.- 100 hz. and beyond. For more detailed performance curves, view our Riverbank test data section below. The response curve of the ACDA – 10 pertains to this unit. The diffusor face diffuses energy from 300hz. – 3,400hz. Each unit can be positioned in a vertical, stand alone, or horizontal position on top of the QDA units. Once again, all units in this series are finished in the same furniture grade veneers as our flagship QDA series. The QDAH-13 measures 49″ long, 24.5″high, and 13″deep. Each unit weighs 185 pounds.

Benefits

The QDAH series offers the ability to have vertical and horizontal diffusion available by placing the QDAH unit horizontally across 2 QDA units. Coupled with our QDA series, which are vertical diffusors, one can now have vertical and horizontal diffusion in our recording and playback environments. A vertically placed diffusor means you are spreading out sound energy in a horizontal direction. A horizontally positioned unit spreads sound out in a vertical direction. The combination of both vertical and horizontal diffusion, creates the most desired sound field. Our broadband, low frequency, absorbers provide even absorption rates and levels through a frequency range which produces sonic issues in 95% of today’s rooms. Finish quality and appearance matches or exceeds those found on top of the line audio speakers.
