Hi All. We are building a new control room, and I’ve got the walls sorted—angles, traps, diffusion, etc, but I don’t know where to go with the ceiling. Our height is 11’6″, and I was thinking of a sloping drop ceiling (using Tectum tiles) that would start at 9′ in the front and raise to 11′ in the back.

Again–this is just what I’m thinking. There’s a lot of info online about wall shapes and solutions, but not much of anything regarding ceilings. Any ideas?

T, You have two options: diffusion and absorption . Without knowing anything about your room, it is difficult to determine. Fill out the information in this link: https://acousticfields.com/fre…..-analysis/
