For netiquette sake I introduce myself here. I’m a graphic / web designer, parttime farmer. Yes, I know..

I’ve been thinking about how to keep noise outside for years and now I finally am going to do something about it, starting with one room. It’s hard to find good info though.

Oh, and a little bit about myself: Dutch native speaker, 46 years old, happily married, no kids. Yes, I like good acoustics but for now I’m trying to figure out how to keep traffic noise out.

N,, Noise has to be measured and then the proper barrier designed to reduce the frequency and amplitude of the noise transmission.
