Hi Dennis,

Good day to you and to all members. My name is Jayson, I recently purchased the complete set of DIY QD diffusers + acoustic documents from acoustic fields. Wondering if anyone can help me decide what QD to use and where to place them. I have a small dedicated room with 12Ft (L) x 10ft (W) x 9.5 ft (H). I actually created a graphic illustration of the room with all the details necessary to make some analysis but not sure how post the image here.

I’ve honestly done some reading online about it but, i can’t seem to get the grasp of what I needed to do to ensure the best performance. However I found that your designs are the best and would like to get started on making them.

Interested in your opinions on which QD to use at the ceiling above the listening area and side wall well

Let me know and thanks again for your products.

Regards,

Jayson C.

J, You can use a QD-13 on the front and rear wall. Start the diffuser 24″ off the floor and cover entire front and rear wall.

J, It is best to save the ceiling treatment for last. The four walls will produce 80 % of what you hear in the presentation. For most hobbyists, that is sufficient. If after treating the four walls, you begin to “hear” the ceiling then it would justify treatment. at that time.
